Hi Deb!!
I just wanted to
give you an update
on Trigger. He is
doing great! Tom
and I absolutely
love him. He is so
well behaved and so
great with
everyone. We are
constantly being
told how cute his
face is and how he
is such a social and
loveable dog (Tom's
mom even said she
might love him more
than she could love
a grandchild
.
He is also extremely
smart. We have had
him for a little
less than two months
and he has already
learned so many new
tricks (sit, lay
down, high-five,
shake, stay, and our
favorite is when I
say 'Bang' and he
falls over and plays
dead - its
adorable). I
attached a couple of
pictures so you can
see how big and
adorable he has
gotten. And you
can see from
the pictures, he
LOVES toys and loves
to play.
Thank you so much
for allowing us to
adopt him, we love
him so much!!
We also want to say
thank you for the
food
recommendation. We
switched him to
Fromm about a month
ago and he LOVES
it! And his coat is
amazingly shiny and
soft.
Thanks again so much
for him, we truly do
love him more than
we ever thought we
could!! And we will
definitely recommend
you to any friends
or family looking
for a
smart, wonderful,
adorable, loveable
puppy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 03/05/10 Deb, you beat me to it....I was going to email you today and let you know how Charlie/Jordan is doing. He's doing just FINE!!!
Made the 6 hr trip to
Bloomington with very little
fuss. Took him to the vet
yesterday and was pronounced
"healthy" as well as very
cute.
He put on quite a show of "cute" there. He was a little irritated with the shot, though! So we go back in 3 wks.
He's been using the pottie
pads and went outside three
times!!! Wow, what a guy!
Eating well, too. Loves his
new toys.
AND...... would you believe
he chases the ball and
brings it back to me every
time. I thought that was
pretty amazing.
Oliver is in "tolerate" mode
and tries very hard to
ignore the new intruder.
Each day gets a little
better. I'm sure
when Oliver
figures out that the little guy in staying he'll warm up a little more. The cats are still watching and waiting --- very curious about him, but at paws length.
My two sons, who live here,
came over yesterday to
meet Charlie --- they gave
him the seal of approval.
So, we are all settling in
and trying to get a routine
established.
Charlie is a wonderful
addition to our family and I
look forward to watching him
grow. Thank you for Charlie
and being so
patient with the wire transfer process. Enjoyed meeting you and all the other beautiful puppies and dogs. Will send you pictures as he grows.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello Deb, We adopted Lucky back in August, and I wanted to follow-up with you on how she’s doing. First of all, she is a delight!! She is spunky, loving, and curious. She has fit in wonderfully with our kids, and she is basically my shadow at all times. We are so enjoying her presence in our home! She especially loves to play with our cat, and also to sit under the piano as I play it every day, even resting her head on the pedals!! Secondly, she had her surgery to be spayed on Tuesday, she is recovering very nicely. I’ve attached a cute little picture of her (from when she was much younger, but it’s still very cute!!)
Thanks again! Renee
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Deb,
We are writing to give you an
update on Chip and to thank you
for breeding such a wonderful,
well socialized puppy. We are very happy with our decision to adopt Chip. He is a perfect companion and a great addition to our family.
Chip is very playful, enjoys
meeting new people and showering
them with kisses.
We enrolled him in obedience training and he has already learned the commands sit, down, come and is working on learning to heel. The instructor even commented that Chip is very eager to learn.
Chip's favorite game is "hide
and seek". He runs from room to
room, hiding under tables and
chairs.
He loves to hide under his favorite chair and waits for us to find him. It is fun to watch him dig in his toy box to select the perfect toy for his playtime.
I am attaching pictures that
were taken when he was 3 months
old.
We love the Santa hat photo! Chip is now 5 months old and 12 pounds. .
We are very thankful that Chip
is a member of our family.
Regards,
Anne, Mitch, Elliot and Nick
Hi Deb, ************************************************************ 4/27/09
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to highly recommend Deb and her services as
a breeder.
My 88 year old grandpa lost his beloved Boxer Bailey to
a tumor last week,
and we were afraid for his health because he was so sad. He wouldn't eat and refused to believe he couldn't have prevented her death.
We were desperate for a new companion for him. We knew,
however, that not any
dog would work. He is not very agile these days and needed a calm dog. My husband and brother suggested a King Charles Spaniel. My sister-in-law found Deb's website, and I called her. She was very kind and honest. When we asked for pictures of the puppy, she immediately sent them. We could tell immediately the puppy had come from a good, caring, healthy place. The puppy and my grandpa bonded right away. She answered all our questions and was very easy to work with and helpful. Most importantly, she provided us with a wonderful, healthy, happy companion for my grandpa. We all love him!
Sincerely,
Cheryl Diedrich and family
**************************************************************************************************************** Deb, 2/06/09 I just wanted to shoot you an email and thank you for the perfect dog. We have had Bailey for 6 months now and couldn’t be happier with our choice of where we got her from. You obviously have committed a great deal of time to breeding what we feel as the perfect companion. Not only is she gorgeous but her personality and temperament are just what we hoped for. She is great with everyone she meets kids, adults and other dogs. Once we have a larger place we plan on contacting you to get her a playmate. Attached is a picture from Christmas. Thanks Jeff & Kim S
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1/11/09 Dear Deb,
Lori and I want you to know how very special our Cavaliers are to us and how much we love them. Jack and Dani have become family members over the past year and a half since they came to us. I had looked into the breed for some time before we visited you in Minnesota. It was especially nice to find you so close to where I was born and raised. It did not take long for Lori and Liz, our daughter, to fall in love. The afternoon they spent with your dogs in the yard at your farm remains one of the most special days of our lives. It was then that we knew these were the dogs for us. We were so happy to hear just a month later that you had a new litter. When Jack and Dani arrived in California two months later our lives were changed forever. We appreciate the care you took to make sure they were safely and timely flown out. We met them at the airport when they arrived. They had food, certification papers, a clean crate and all the details had been handled very professionally. Our vet checked them both the same afternoon and was very impressed with them physically as well as their temperaments.
Having now had the opportunity to see other Cavaliers we are very impressed with your breeding program. Not only are both our male and female gorgeous examples of the breed and their sex, the most impressive thing about them is their temperament. Okay, and their personalities. They are wonderful around people of all ages including babies. They are most definitely a part of our family, spending time with us when we relax and eager to play in the yard with or without humans and always ready for a walk or run. They are curious and like to be around us when we are doing household chores or working in the yard. They know who is in the house and who is not and will sit at the window watching and waiting if one of us is leaving or arriving. They are alert, intelligent, playful, eager to please, friendly, well behaved, quick to learn and our best friends. We are convinced it is the care and quality of your breeding program that is responsible for these very positive traits. We are now eagerly looking forward to the next addition to our family when you send our new puppy in a couple months.
I would also like to add how beautiful the coloring and markings are on our dogs. Jack is our tri color and is too handsome for words. Dani, our black and tan has the most perfect markings and deepest coloring I could imagine. She is all girl and beautiful! We expect our new Ruby to have Rusty’s dark color. Of course you know we will be looking to you for a Blenheim in a year or two to fill out the family.
We thought you would like to know how much we appreciate what you are doing. Keep up the good work!

Hi Deb,
Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year's. Thought
I'd send you a couple pictures of Sugar in her new
houndstooth coat she got for Christmas. She is doing just great. She graduated from her Puppy Obedience classes right before Christmas (she has her "graduation cap" on in the first picture). Then she was spayed last week (can you believe she's 6 months old already!) and is recovering just fine. She's up to almost 14 pounds now, so I think she's about full grown.
Hope you're doing well.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nov 20, 2008 Hi Deb, She's getting along with the other dogs and loves to play in the back yard with them. Luckily we've had a nice warm Fall so far. She's just about got the housebreaking down. She cries a little bit when I put her in her kennel when I have to leave, but I think once she realizes I'm really
gone she goes to sleep (or so my roommates tell me anyway!). for six weekends. The trainer was recommended by a girl I work with. I'm hoping we can learn how to walk on a leash together and get some help with "come" and "sit." I've already figured out that she's really smart and catches on quickly to what the other dogs do, but she's also pretty stubborn so if she doesn't want to do something she digs her heels in. She's developed a habit of hiding her most favorite bones and toys and sure enough days later she remembers where they are and goes right over to them (and I
don't even know they're there - she hides them really well!). Yorkie from a breeder here in Colorado and it passed away on Saturday. Besides having hypoglycemia and pneumonia, the vet said it's heart had grown too big for it's body (the dog was only a little over one pound at 16 weeks). I think that people want smaller and smaller dogs, so the breeders are trying to do that but in this case the poor dog didn't have a chance. So of course the friend is heartbroken and the breeder is being horrible to her about the whole thing. (And she spent over $2,500 at the vet as
well.) I know that Sugar will grow to be a wonderful companion to all of us in our house. We already love her so much. Everyone that has seen her has
instantly fallen in love too. They all say, "She doesn't
look real! She looks like a stuffed animal!" when they arrive. Did Tommy and Tony
get adopted? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ March 15, 2008 To Whom It May Concern: Please accept this as a reference for Deb and My Lovely Cavaliers in Plainview MN. I recently purchased a wonderful Cavalier King Charles Puppy from her and am delighted in all respects. She was responsive from my first email to her and provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision about this important purchase. I checked other references and found that she had sold puppies to people around the country and they had had equally good experiences with her and her dogs. Our puppy arrived via Northwest Airlines in good health, full of spunk and on his way to being well trained. The dog had all his shots and his papers were in order. I found Deb to be thorough and responsible and I would purchase a dog from her again without hesitation. This is our third Cavalier and he is simply adorable. If you have any questions, please telephone me for more details. You will not be disappointed if you decide to purchase an animal from My Lovely Cavaliers. Sincerely, Ellen Pacific Palisades CA
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi Deb, Just wanted to let you know Sammy is doing great! He was neutered a couple weeks ago and has recovered just fine. He is such a sweet heart. We all love his so much. I remember when we got him from you, you told us that we would be smitten with him, and I thought “Well, of course you’d say that, you breed cavaliers.” But now I know the truth, and really, I can’t imagine a more loving, affectionate, sweet natured and even tempered dog. He is just sitting here next to me looking up at me with those lovely warm eyes. I just want to give him a little smooch on the top of the head. He is so good with everyone – dogs and humans alike. And he’s smart too! At puppy class he was the only puppy who did his final trick on the first try (and he did a “Play Dead!”) Nobody else did such a fancy trick – they were all doing sits and downsl. Oh, I know, I am totally biased and think he is the cutest and smartest puppy of all time. Poor Angel (our lab) she just can’t compete – not that she even tries. She’s perfectly happy spoiling Sammy like the rest of us. If Sam wants Angel’s toy – she just gently hands it to him, If Sam wants Angel’s food, she just walks away until he is done. I think Angel is a bit Smitten with him as well. Anyway, thanks again for everything. Alison says that she wants a Cavalier for a college graduation present. So, expect a call from us in 4 years. Warmly, Lisa and the Mastain clan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi Deb, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Deb - Just wanted to give you an update on the puppies.
First, I love them, they're wonderful. They were seen
by the vet on the day they arrived (10-10-08) and are in perfect health. I had to switch the dog food to Wellness Super Mix Just for Puppies, couldn't find ProHealth in a nearby store. They have adapted to it just fine. They are adapting well to housebreaking attempts, today 75% successful - I consider that pretty darned good! I crate them at night and when I'm away from the house. They don't even cry at night - I think because they have each other. I'm so glad I bought both of them. The crate is actually a child's play pen with mesh sides, so very safe. They're adapting well to collars and leashes when I walk them, although they are whirling dervishes at the moment, I expect them to settle down soon. I can't tell you how much I love them. They were the very best decision, thank you so much for your help and support while I was making the
transition of them from Minnesota to Los Angeles. Pam
