Hi Deb,
I'm writing to give you an update on Copper
(he was Joey in your house, but we really
liked the named Copper and it stuck!), the
ruby male I bought from you last October
when he was five months old. Soon after he
was adjusted at home, we sent him to a
training school where he learned to sit,
stay, lay down, wait for others to go
through a door before him, and walk on a
leash. I've also taught him to drop his toys
when we play fetch and what "go in your
crate" means. He's such a smart, lovable
little guy! He knows exactly which door to
go to in my apartment building when we
return from walks. I've gone through some
difficult times in the past year, and Copper
has been here every step of the way to offer
me comfort and love. I don't know what I
would do without him. He is very well
socialized and always wants to play in the
dog park with the other dogs who live around
here, and he runs up to people wagging his
tail to offer some kisses. A man in my
apartment building recently told me that
Copper is his favorite dog here, which is a
hard task - there are over 40 dogs in this
building! I just wanted to thank you for
bringing him into my life and remind people
to check your "older puppies for sale" page.
The dogs on that page are just as wonderful
as younger puppies. Copper's fantastic
personality is a testament to the care you
gave him as a young puppy and his great
lineage.
I'm sending along two pictures, one of
Copper smiling and another of him taking a
bath (he likes baths and LOVES being towel
dried after!)
Thanks so much,
Shannon B
